Dean Bird has performed with some of the world's most popular music and recording artists including Ireland 's legendary the Furey Brothers and the evergreen Foster and Allen.

Adelaide's own Dean Bird has appeared on many Australian television variety programmes such as Adelaide Tonight, In Time, The Country Hour and a host of children's educational and interactive shows including Here's Humphrey, The Channel Niners and the Curiosity Show. He's also been interviewed several times on local and regional ABC Radio and various radio guest spots.

With his trusty old guitar and that magnetic voice, Dean performs a unique blend of popular songs from yesteryear along with a feast of much loved melodies and sing along favourites including beautiful self penned ballads from his own recorded CD albums.

Often described as an entertainer for all occasions, he performs for residents of Aged Care and Retirement Lifestyle facilities as well as river cruises, parties, community clubs and all those 'special' events.

Dean has now formed a small group "Dean Bird and the Cuckoos".
